no one would ever have found it off the train without the full postal address.

here is a picture of the pub for anyone that can't read:

Image

amusingly the road it's on is not a cow OR a gate. but it's in fact a road.

strange but true.

For anybody who still might be confused, here are the directions from the station;

Start Peterborough Railway Station

1
Depart <0.1 miles

2
Turn right onto Station Road 0.1 miles

3
Turn right onto Bourges Boulevard A15 0.1 miles

4
At the roundabout, take the fifth exit onto Cowgate 0.1 miles

5
Arrive at your destination <0.1 miles

for those planning to go to the draper's arms in cowgate tomorrow, you might want to take heed of grailhunter's review of the pub on beerintheevening.com:

"Tried to buy a drink at 11.30 on a thursday morning but no chance. Customers were three deep at the bar and there were just two staff serving. Admittedly it was the week of the Peterborough beer festival and there were a lot of people stopping off here on their way from the station to the festival site (the festival didn't open until 12.00), but surely the Manager could have anticipated that there would be extra customers around and laid on a couple of extra staff"

Lesson there is — don't go there on a Thursday. During the week of the Peterborough beer festival.

Hope that helps.

It's near Bourges Boulevard. Probably a long, wide avenue lined with trees, interspersed with classical sculpture and statues of Peterborough's finest denizens past and present.

Come on you Rsssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss!

Cheapskates. I will with fellow £20+ fans be starting off at The Brewery Tap (Westgate nr.Station)which has it's own brewery attached & sells Thai food. After that find any pub which is showing The Scally Derby @ 12.45 \:D/

You're going to have to be a little more specific I'm afraid
